How the studies are made

In short: an AI helps research and write each study, one time. Every study is then checked, and I read it before it is published.

The Bible text comes first

Every Scripture quotation comes from the Berean Standard Bible, which is in the public domain. Quotations are taken from that text and never from an AI’s memory, and each one is checked against the Bible text.

Where the rest comes from

For history, word meanings, and other facts, a study uses only notes drawn from sources we have approved:

  • Scripture itself, above all.
  • Teachers of the past: the church fathers, the Reformers, and classic commentaries.
  • Living scholars and ministries are used for facts only, never for their views.

If a claim is flagged as doubtful in our research, it is left out of the study.

Where Christians disagree

On passages that are debated, a study does not take sides. It lays out the setting from Scripture: who is speaking, to whom, and what else the Bible says. Then you weigh it and decide. On sensitive subjects such as marriage, the study lets Scripture speak for itself and adds no outside opinions.

Checked, then read

An AI model helps research and write each study, and it can still make mistakes. So each study goes through a checking step, and then I read it myself before it is published. If you find an error, please tell me at support@hearthabove.com, and I will correct it.

No live AI chat

The AI works before the study reaches you, not while you read. You receive finished text. There is no AI chatting with you, and nothing you do while reading is sent anywhere. That keeps the app free to run, and keeps what you read between you and God.
